I am currently a Reference and Instruction Librarian at the regional campus of a large public research university. I work to connect students, faculty, and staff to library resources using both traditional library service strategies (the reference desk and the library instruction classroom) and web-based approaches (course management systems, email, chat, etc.). My research interests include the intersection of critical theory with library instruction and classificatory systems, emerging and instructional technologies, distance librarianship, and zine libraries and alternative archival projects.

Was really caught by the name of your blog. Wondering how you came up with it and will it be reflected in your posts somehow. Have started cpd23 myself just now. Cheers! πŸ™‚

Sanita :: Thanks for checking out my blog! I came up with the name because it best describes my educational/professional background and interests. I wouldn’t be surprised if it will be reflected in upcoming posts. I like the name of your blog and look forward to keeping tabs on it throughout this process πŸ™‚
