I am currently a Reference and Instruction Librarian at the regional campus of a large public research university. I work to connect students, faculty, and staff to library resources using both traditional library service strategies (the reference desk and the library instruction classroom) and web-based approaches (course management systems, email, chat, etc.). My research interests include the intersection of critical theory with library instruction and classificatory systems, emerging and instructional technologies, distance librarianship, and zine libraries and alternative archival projects.
